Our Story

About Keepsakes by Sultana

I’m a mama of three babies and two fur babies who knows just how much the small milestones matter—especially when life feels anything but small. I started Keepsakes by Sultana while my husband was deployed overseas for a year. In that season, I found comfort in embroidery: stitching names, dates, and memories that carried deep meaning.

This passion was born from personal experience—my twins were born premature and spent time in the NICU. Like many NICU parents, I clung to every ounce, every inch, every first milestone. Those early numbers felt monumental. So I began making birth stat blankets, shadow boxes, and embroidered gifts that held those powerful moments in thread.

Shortly after, I lost my mother unexpectedly. She was the heartbeat of our family—the one who always remembered birthdays, anniversaries, and every small win. She celebrated people beautifully. And now, in her spirit, I do the same—one stitch at a time.

Keepsakes by Sultana was born to honor those fleeting yet unforgettable moments. Whether it’s a military homecoming or a baby’s arrival, I’d be honored to help you hold on to what matters most.
